Don't worry at all. My current girlfriend I went to middle school and high school with being a grade above her and never had any idea who she was. Up until her last year of college to right after college she was always this shy, extremely skinny, sporty girl with no curves & was stuck in that awkward looking phase with her body even though she still had a pretty face, being a Daddy's girl that was more of a tom boy she never really used or toyed around with makeup & such. Finally around the age of 22 she started to mature & become more lady like while also having her body become much more proportional & also she started to break out if her shell & interact with people and guys causing guys to either notice her or look at her differently from before. She finally got a boyfriend although it was short term & gained the confidence she needed. When I first met her, she actually came up to me & introduced herself because she was finally confident and comfortable with who she was. I noticed this confidence along with her little bit shy, but fantastic personality & instantly thought she was absolutely breath taking gorgeous. Sometimes it just takes a little longer for some girls to develop and break out to be noticed by men. In college guys are usually attracted and go for the personable, outgoing girls that dress skanky & no how to strut their stuff to get noticed. The inexperienced, why quiet girls that are naturally cute, but don't know how to use what they've got to their advantage as well as put themselves out there to be noticed in the first place us guys usually won't give much thought to until after college when we are looking for a gorgeous girl that is wifey material with a great personality that we get along with & hasn't slept with half of the guys we have as mutual friends on Facebook. These girls tend to be so much better looking & beautiful than our college flings, only we didn't notice it at the time.
