How to kiss a guy for the first time?

there's this guy I've been on a couple dates with, I'm positive he likes me, he just hasn't kissed me yet so I kind of want to make the first move. he's over 1/2 foot taller than me, So I think the best time to kiss him is when we're hanging out on my bed. Is it better to kiss him while we're sitting side by side, or lying side by side? Do I kiss him on the cheek and hope he kind of kisses me back on the lips? I would prefer if he was the one to make the first move, But I though I would just help him out a little bit.

This would be my very first kiss, So step by step and extreme detail is appreciated

Give him signals to make a move. If you're sitting or laying next to each other, just act normal and relaxed. Some physical contact could help such as playing with his hands or something. Fidget with your nails, shirt, or blankets or you're on the bed. This is a huge signal to guys. It pretty much tells us that you want us to kiss you. Also try licking your lips and making occasional eye contact with his lips. That stuff should result in a kiss. Other than that, maybe try to accidentally get your face close to his and hope for sexual tension to do the rest. Good luck

I have good news and bad news.

Good news is you've already made this awkward as fuck by asking the internet. It will never work out the way any of us set it up.

Bad news is that because it will never work out the way we set it up it's going to be awkward as fuck in real life now. The whole "First Kiss = Not Stupidly Awkward" is unavoidable.

The easiest way to do this is to set it up and let him lead. Unless it's his first kiss too.

If you are standing you can get on your tippy toes or just grab onto his shoulder and bring him lower to your level. I do think that you should just kiss his cheek and let him do the first kiss. Either way the first kiss will be pretty awkward.

Ok look, we're only human right? It's going to be awkward no matter what if it's your first kiss. Just act normal and give him a smooch alright? What's the worse that could happen? Don't be nervous and go for it! It doesn't matter what position you guys are in just go in for it and he'll reciprocate.

He might but if you guys are like on a couch and watching a movie the most he would probably do is give you a kiss on the cheek also. I doubt it would be full on right away. When you guys aren't really doing much is a good time because you have his undivided attention. Again I say don't be nervous.
