Am I a homewrecker?

Hi. Im now in a relationship with a guy who claimed he was single before we dated. And when we were already together when her ex girlfriend told me they're relationship and our relationship overlapped. But they separated already. And they are not married. They have a baby. And i didn't knew about anything about this. she's calling me homewrecker. Now the guy is going to marry me. Am i still a homewrecker?

Well to be honest, you didn't know. How are you to know if he doesn't tell you and there are no signs?

I think she's upset, and I don't blame her. But it's not your fault.

But I would definitely have a hard time trusting someone who did that.

Yes and no, I mean to her you are. But really she should be putting the blame where it's due which is on him and not be contacting you. She's upset. I would try my best to avoid answering any calls or even seeing her if you can. I don't know the situation between them, so it's hard to say. But she needs to move on.

no he lied to you. but one thing to keep in mind is if he cheated on her, what makes you think he won't do the same to you? people dont change unless they want to he is a cheater what makes you think he is willing to change for you?

He told me everything. The reason why he lied. He wasn't happy. The girl keeps on threatening him. And i can see the attitude of the girl. And it shows. No doubt he wasn't happy.

No matter what you only know the lies he's told you. No decent person starts a relationship when they haven't ended another one. There are no excuses to cheat.

You don't know her side. Only the 2 of them truly know what happened between them. You're getting married? How long did he lie about having a child? Instead of asking a "homewrecker" question you should be asking why you have such low self esteem.

I don't think so. To me, a homewrecker is someone who knowingly dates a married or involved guy.

The real question here is WHY would you want to marry a guy who lied to you and cheated on his ex? The mother of his child.

He lied because he was torned between me and his child.. he was about to split up with the mother but the girl was still bearing the child. He was waiting for the girl to bear the child so he could split up. with him. he's concerned about the child.

All I here is excuses. He lied to you. He cheated on his ex. Those are facts. It doesn't matter if he was "concerned about the child" or not. He cheated. He lied. He dumped his girlfriend after she gave birth. You think this sound like a good man? I do not. And I can not understand why you make excuses for him or why you would want to marry such a person. I would have dumped him the second I found.
