i only say yessir and yes miss at work and I still get sh*t for it lol
the female customers say I'm not that old and then I say I don't sy it because I think ur are old I say it out of respect.
but if there's a customer whose around my age I say what's up cause saying yessir to a person your age is pretty awkward like you have to report to then or something like that so just keep it to a minimum. (You're not their bi*ch so don't act like it )
I always say sir/Ma'am when talking to someone I do not know. Especially when they are working. For example if i order food or get served i will always say thank you sir/Ma'am. It's just natural instinct, so i can't change my ways. So what if i get a few weird looks or get laughed at. I couldn't care less what their opinion is of me. I don't know them. Better to be polite and nice than rude or obnoxious.
Dont say it to girls. Its just too much. The only time you should be saying that is at a job interview or with an elder. That's just a turn off and if girls have told you not to say it trust me you should listent to them and stop saying it. If you do you will get girls giving you weird looks or probably laughing behind your back. You can never go wrong with a simple yes or no.
I like guys who do that. Unless they do it in a mocking way, then it's just irritating. I think it is cute (not in the "adorable puppy" way, in the "hot guy" way), and it shows respect. If those girls don't like it, then respect their wishes. But being polite is not a bad thing. It's not a bad thing at all.
