Okay so me and this guy were head over heels for each other at one point..veryyy into each other and it was lovely l. Then we spent too much time together at some point and realized it wasn't working. So we ended it! I was super pissed on the inside and depressed for two months over it! And to be honest that's not like me at all. I usually get over guys pretty fast. Anyways so almost 3 months go by and we don't talk. Then bam! Out of nowhere today.. He texts me asking how I am. Now I'm so confused because I heard he was dating some new chick right after we split... But maybe that was just a rebound? I don't know help me out here dudes.

He probably isn't even sure what he wants, just that he thought about you, missed you, and wanted to say hello. He could be seeing how you're doing, if you're single. He may have just broken up with this girl and is looking for another rebound. He could want to get back together. And he could even just be poking you to see if he can. An ego boost.

Don't get too hung up on the "why" and what he wants. Focus on what you want.

God I know I don't wanna be the rebound girl. But I won't be home for another two weeks because of the holidays anyways so... I mean that might be good. I eded the convo nicely and replied nice...he was nicer ha ha like asking questions.. Being cute. I don't know it sounded like the guy I fell for from the start.
