Is 23-25 too old to fit into the college social scene?

I guess this question is geared more towards the 18-24 crowd.

Long story short, I just graduated from college in April but I decided that the degree I have isn't what I want to do, so I figured my best course of action is to go back to college. I'll be there for about 3 years & then I'm pushing to go to grad school.

The thing is... I'll be 23 in the fall when I start, & 25 when I finish & get my degree. Mind you, I'll be attending a big party school (my old school was nothing like that) & I'm worried about if I'll fit in (not that I don't like to partake in such activities, because I DO).

All of my friends say it's not a big deal but I'm still a bit paranoid. What do you guys think?

I know a 24 year old who is doted and loved by everyone. If you have an attractive personality and dress decently and have your head in the right place - you should have no problems fitting in. Another solution if you are religious is to join religious social clubs. I'm 29 years old and in the Christian fellowship there are 3 people there the same age as me - I think its because finding God is easier when you have removed youthful passions and vulnerabilities from your life and this is why the older crowd is more religious then the younger crowd in school.

I don't think that you're too old for the college social scene. I have a friend that's going to graduate being 16 years old because they skipped him 2 grades. And I don't think that It is ever too late to do what you want.

Personally I do not care about the age. There are people of all ages at college. You just have to find the right group of friends on campus to hang out with and your age should not make a difference.

No 25 is alright. The thing that makes you old is a boring personality at any age. Have a good personify and you will be fine.

Nahh when I was in the dorms there was twenty eight year olds in there. Good times.

This is one of the reasons why our youths are failing America people are more worried about trying to fit in in college rather than worried about their education, dreams, and trying to get career.

Im 28 but personally I don't think it matters. A lot of people are grad students that are late 20s and no one cares that much about age..

I've been to college with people who were 25 28 32 43 years old. People of all ages go to college. Being in your 20s is te majority of people anyways

I doubt it my friend from work is 22 and he went off to uni. I think he has made quite a few friends.
