No it doesn't make you a loser. However many places of work will not hire individuals who have neck tattoos. You should consider t the very least getting it done on the lower portion of your neck so you can still wear a collard shirt without it being visible during an interview. Society tries to teach you otherwise, but in my eyes you're only a loser if you don't do the things that will make you happiest in life. Don't be scared of what other think. You'll start to love life when you stop giving a fuck.

I feel you man. I smoke marijuana occasionally and people judge me for it. The thing is they focus on the negative things. I'm also a musician, college student and working young adult yet they only focus on the negative. Maybe you should get a tattoo somewhere else first?

This idea that people with tattoos are losers is stupid. Tattoos are becoming more and more socially acceptable (finally). Hopefully the stigma behind them goes away soon as well. Just because you have exposed tattoos doesn't make you more or less professional, make you a loser, or make you unemployable.

The only people who have neck tattoos that are losers are everyone who belongs to the KKK, the Neo Nazis, and any other white supremacist group. Many of them have tattoos. I do have a neck tattoo and working in the Marketing Department at my job. Also, not belong to any white supremacist groups.
