Easy, weather is unpredictable like you said so i can't really be prepared for it. Why would i take a jacket if it might be warm. Tent is all i need. I can use sticks and sharpen them to kill the wild animals you said that live there for food and cook them by making a fire with wood and sticks. I would use the water purifer to get water from the sea and drink it. Easy repeat for 30 days.
Because at night it will most likely get cold
Comb/brush - Gotta stay fabulous

I would rather go home broke. And give back the money. If you get a bad bug bite, bad animal bite or a bad infection from tainted food, water and plants then surviving would be useless without proper medical treatment and medicine.

Shelters can be constructed from available materials. If the island is in a warm climate, not much of a shelter is required.
So it rains. Try going on a two-week patrol in driving rain, in a tropical jungle/forest, as a infantryman. - lol
As for killer creatures, a simple staff, or bo, is all the weapon that is needed for anything short of a lion/tiger.
It is unlikely that anything short of big cat would look upon a human as a prey animal. One of the important things of which to be mindful is that predators will be much less likely to look upon you as a menu item if you do not behave as a prey animal.
It should not be forgotten that humans are the most dangerous predators on the planet.
