How much money do I need for a movie date?

I'm taking this girl to the movies on Saturday. The tickets are ten dollars each but I don't know if she wants me to pay. so if she does how much money do I need? Is 40 enough?

Figure out the cost of 2 tickets, 2 popcorns and 2 drinks at your local theatre. Then, add in some extra money just in case something else comes up. Assume you will be paying for her unless she adamantly doesn't want you to. Or, if she really wants to help pay offer to work out a situation where you buy the tickets and she buys the popcorn, etc.

I'm not into movie dates. For one, I hate theaters because a lot of people there lack manners. If you wanna take her to a movie though, go to a dollar theater, a free movie showing at a library or city auditorium, or if there's an outdoor movie series in your town.

well...is it just the movies?

tickets: $22 (with tax)

food: $10

so 40 is enough, but make sure you have more if you're planning on having dinner or ice cream afterward or something
