This question, is a five part one.

1) How do you feel about serial killers, what do you think makes

them that way?

2) Are you at all fascinated by any infamous serial killers?

3) Would you ever want to be in the BAU, so you could study them?

1) How do you feel about serial killers, what do you think makes

them that way?

I studied them in school, and found that on average, most serial killers were below average intelligence, but above the limit for mental retardation. However, one man had an I.Q at the genius level. However, some experts say that there are multiple intelligence levels: Mathematics, Historical, Linguistics, and, in the case of this man, emotional. This man was very advanced in all levels except emotional intelligence. His level in emotional intelligence was extremely low. He killed a female hitch hiker because she got nervous and to calm her down, he thought his gun would help. But it made her more nervous so he shot her. He turned himself in, but it was still a fascinating case study.

2) Are you at all fascinated by any infamous serial killers?

Yes, their mentality is very interesting to me

3) Would you ever want to be in the BAU, so you could study them?

I am going into Criminal Justice to be a Criminal Analyst, so yes.

4)Do you think it's weird that some women, idolize serial killers

ans send them love letters?

Yes, it is very strange, but I see the draw. On some psychological level, they seek a dominant male and a serial killer is about as dominant as they get.

1. I can't tell you. There's something inherently wrong with them, if you ask me. Serial killers take joy out of the hunt. They don't kill because of emotions, but are cold and calculating. They know exactly what they're doing and they love it. There's something screwed up in their wiring.

2. Highly. You want another interesting one? Look up Mary Bell. I wouldn't call her a serial killer, but seriously, look her up. She's fascinating and terrifying.

3. I'd love to.

4. Yes. Those women need to learn to separate reality from fantasy. They don't really know what they want and they need to learn to live in reality.

Serial killers are the ultimate bad boys.  Famous serial killers have always received tons of fan mail from truly deluded women throughout history. If anything, serial killers are interesting study into just how dark the feminine mindset can be at its most extreme.

I just want to share a very interesting statistic when it comes to serial killers.  95% of serial killers that target women had a prostitute as a mother.  I think that says a lot.

I read the book 'My life among the serial killers" by Helen Morrison, and it was a very interesting read. It changed my perspective on them but I still think very lowly of them. She talks about many of the killers you have mentioned here. Being a psychologist, she actually goes into jails and interviews them. Very interesting book indeed.

I don't think they should be allowed back into any society and that a life sentance should be just that for them...life, not just 10 or so years,but until the end of their natural life.

I heard of all of them. I will be studying and have been studying them. There are people that have a macabre mind and it does not surprise me that there are some women that are intrigued and aroused by the thought of being with a serial killer. It is hard to say why these people become serial killers. It may be all genetic but I doubt it. I think it is a fine balance, a recipe if you will of environment and genetic pre-disposition to extreme violence.b
