Girls, if your boyfriend teared up in front of you because you had a small fight, embarrassing?

So my girlfriend of 5 months and I had our first fight. She got really mad at me because I "acted childish" when we were watching a movie with her roommates. Long story short there was a miscommunication but she was mad that I wasn't talking to her during a movie. I really wasn't comfortable with the movie and everything (just trust me I felt awkward)

So she was really mad at me. First fight we've ever had. And as I was trying to explain myself, toward the end of the conversation, I started TEARING UP. I've never cried in front of her and I am super embarrassed. She was joking but she said I was like the girl in the relationship.

I was just worked up the whole day because of the whole situation. So she said she's still kind of mad at me.

But girls, how embarrassing for him is it that your guy would tear up in front of you?

My boyfriend and I got in a fight and he ended up tearing up while I was basically yelling at him and it went something like this, "WELL YOU ARE A --wait...what? What are you-? No! No, no, no, don't cry! Please don't cry! It's okay, I'm sorry!" And then I just hugged him and held him to the best of my ability (he's 6'5 and I'm 5'4) and we ended up in an intense make out session. End of argument.

I see nothing wrong with men crying. It shows that they're human and have human emotions and it also shows that they aren't some brick wall.

I mean, I don't cry very often and no one in my family does so I always find it an odd emotion, both in myself and in others and admittedly don't know what to do when someone starts crying, but I certainly don't think any less of the person if they cry. Especially if that person happens to be my boyfriend. Your girlfriend is just a jerk.

well, if a guy were to cry in front of me, embarrassed would be the LAST thing that he should feel! I absolutely LOVE it when guys cry; it literally makes me melt, and then, I just wanna cuddle them until they feel better. some girls think it's a turn-off for guys to show their emotions like that, but personally, I think it's a turn-off when they DON'T show their emotions like that. even if it's a guy, it's still a human...and humans have emotions that should be let out when necessary. it's not good to hold them back, and I would never expect someone to do that just because of their gender.

It is as embarrassing as you take it to be , let it go sh*t happens and somehow you did end up crying , ofc its not something that you feel nice about but its no use feeling sh*tty over it .

What gets into me is that she even teased you and now she is still mad?

I would say that you should man up and show her that you are not her toy , from what I got she started the fight and now she is mad at you ? F***that show a bit of character and tell her that you fought over a stupid reason and she got no reason to be mad , if she still goes on tell her to cool off on her own and that you got no part to play in this drama and will be waiting for her to talk to you like nothing happened next time you talk .

That's my approach in this , no reason to hear me out if you don't like it you can go on and do whatever you like .

I think she's trying to give you a hint that she thinks you're a p**** and you need to grow a pair. She probably found you tearing up to be a huge turnoff because almost every girl usually does. They expect you to be a man and masculine and crying of any sort to girl shows that you're too feminine aka p****. I'd be embarrassed.

I might tease him a bit, but I could never stay mad at him. That being said, it's unlikely that I would tease him. I would feel like I'm just making him insecure and he might cry again. You don't need to feel embarrassed though.
