Boyfriend is curious about my farts?

I don't know how to ask this question, so I'll start by saying that we've been together for over a year. We started as friends and we were always very comfortable with each other and opened up easily. Even when we were in the friendship zone, he would openly fart in front of me and it was always very funny and brought us to tears with laughter. We don't have a very evolved sense of humor :P Anyway we would always mess around and be playful like that but I never joined in with the farting and potty humor because I'm a girl and I hold the stereotype that girls don't publicly fart. In front of anyone. We we started dating, that didn't change and I still tried to keep up this image of being a lady (whatever that means).

Fast forward to present day. We live together and are always in close quarters to each other but I still make an effort to avoid farting around him. It's embarrassing as hell and I would prefer to avoid it at all costs :P The other day he was teasing and asking if I even fart? It was so funny and we could not stop laughing because he made it seem like I wait for him to leave for work to do it :P I was so weirded out that he wanted to know when I do it and why I hold back when he's around lol! What is wrong with him and why does he wanna see this side of me? He literally asks me to fart in front of him and says he wants to "just hear it once." :P So funny that he even gives this a second thought :D Guys, if a girl goes out of her way to avoid farting in front of you, does it just make you more curious? Tell me about your relationships lol

Your boy is just messing with you I think! Guys love embarrassing their girlfriends and finding things to tease them about.

But for real, I get why you don't want to fart in front of him. Girls are just kinda raised to think that stuff is gross or not ladylike. But honestly, every person farts, so it's not a big deal.

Sounds like you guys have a fun relationship where you can laugh about dumb stuff together. I'd just own it - next time he brings it up just be like "yeah yeah, we all do it!" and let one rip real loud to assert your dominance! Haha jk. But really, I don't think he actually cares, he just thinks it's hilarious how embarrassed you get.

Don't feel weird about it. Chances are he farts just as much as you when you're not around. At the end of the day your relationship is about comfort and trust, so just be yourself. I'm sure he'll appreciate seeing that side of you too and stop teasing so much. Hope this weird boyfriend question helped in some way! Let me know if he ever gets a good one out of you, haha.

My boyfriend LOVES teasing me about things that get me embarrassed and this will be no exception lol :P I don't care when he does it whatsoever and it always just makes us laugh our asses off lol! It's just that girls were taught to always be "ladylike" and it's just one of those taboo things that we can't get over lol :D But of course it's bound to happen someday and I will be freaking mortified by it is what it is and I pray that he won't tell the whole world about it because that's just his humor and he would do that just to piss me off lol :D Anyway it's sweet when couples are close and comfortable enough to reach that stage but it seems he's there and I'm not lol! :P

But for real, cut yourself some slack - I'm sure one little toot ain't gonna ruin your "ladylike" image forever haha. We've all gotta get over that taboo at some point, might as well be with someone you know won't actually judge you for it. That level of comfort is nice to have in a relationship.

Plus if it does slip out accidentally, own it! Just laugh it off with him instead of freaking out. Takes the fun out of teasing you if you don't get embarrassed. And he won't tell the world, he just likes messing with you cause he knows you care what people think. But nah, bros don't kiss and tell like that.

Either way just try not to stress, it's really not a big deal. He cares about you so I'm sure he won't make you feel bad over farts, he just thinks it's funny you haven't "joined in" yet like the boys do. You'll get there eventually!

It's the reaction we girls give that makes it funny to you guys lol :P Realistically it's unavoidable and yes, we are aware that every human being on this earth will do this at some point LOL! I think my hang up with it is that girls wanna be seen as sexy/desirable and once I do that, it'll take that down a notch and he'll think of me as a guy like him :P Of all my past boyfriends, he's for sure the most one I am comfortable with and I know he wouldn't judge when it comes to bodily stuff. BUT I think he would for sure keep this in his memory books and use as blackmail lol :P Just kidding but I like that guys don't "kiss and tell like that :D So sweet keeping things between the couple and not spilling the secrets to other people outside of the relationship <3 I hope this holds true for my boyfriend as well when it inevitably happens :D :P

It is a vulnerable state & you only do that with people you're comfortable and trust enough so I get it lol :P It's just like how you were raised and what you were taught it okay. My household never did that stuff and we always were very private about it and even with parents, siblings, etc. lol! :P He grew up with three brothers and a dad so it was very different to my upbringing lol! :P

Right, everyone has their own comfort zone 🙂. I wasn't used to that kind of thing either but my last ex would use to the bathroom (toilet) when I was taking a shower or even brushing my teeth so we both kind of got used to each other doing our business whenever ☺️
