Hey GAGers! I'm here looking for some help on HARMLESS, cheap, fun, easy pranks to pull on my RA (resident advisor). If you've got any, let us know!
Parameters:
- Nothing that would get us in *serious* trouble. (no police, EMTs, or firefighters can become involved)
- The more elaborate plans to make him think he's going crazy, the better.
- We have about 10 people (guys & girls) ready to do this and we can recruit more. Including the possibility of RAs on other floors.
- ABSOLUTELY NOTHING GROSS. Anything to do with bodily fluids is a no-no. (which is what Google provides a lot of) We want to laughs, not vomit.
- Cheap= good.
- He does have a roommate (our other RA) who won't willingly participate (ie won't lie/cover for us or let us do anything in the room if he's in there). If the prank doesn't annoy that RA too much, that'd be great.
- There is a giant empty space across from their room.
- Damaging school property is a VERY bad thing, so anything that could potentially break a vent/toilet/window is not gonna happen.
- If it helps at all, we're on the 4th floor of a 10 floor building. Our dorm is a previous hotel so there's private bathrooms. It is a co-ed floor but single gender rooms of 3 people per room. The floor is tiled. The doors open inwards and the windows don't open up much at all.
Basically, this all started yesterday when my roommate & I got some fish; petsmart also sells cats so we took a few pictures of one kitten & I texted our RA that we had gotten 'guppies, a kitten, and a pint of blood in a dark alley'. About an hour later while he was doing rounds, we were showing him and a female RA our fish & he asked what my text meant so we told the girls across the hall to start playing cat noises. They did and our RA figured it was a joke but the other RA began to freak out and told him to check it out. He knocked & the girls slammed a couple cabinets and started playing loud music. When he got in the room, he looked around and told them if there was a cat, they had 10 minutes to get rid of it. Of course they got a stuffed animal and ran outside to their car (which was unfortunately placed near his window so he watched them stuff something into the car and run away.) A little later, we got another person on the floor to complain of cat noises. After about 5 hours, we told him the truth and he declared a war. Hence the desire for pranks.
Because of the Great Cat Debacle, he's not *reallllly* gonna fall for any more 'snuck an animal in' pranks. We are also currently considering creating a 'false wall' of cardboard boxes outside his door.
Thanks! Y'all are great!
