Do guys want a girl to kiss them first or is it weird?

I'm a girl and I'm torn on this. I've done it twice. First time was great, but then he later confided that he wished I had made things a bid tougher for him. Huh? Ok. The second time was just wrong...lololol. We had been really flirting forever, it was fun. One day I pulled him over to me and kissed him. He completely withdrew after that ,which made me totally withdraw after that, and it ruined the friendship. I asked him what was wrong the next day. I told him we should just be friends. Then he went on this thing about us going too fast, but I had just told him we should just stay friends? LOLOLOLOLOL He gave me some BS excuse on why we should take it slow and how right now is not a good time, but the whole time I was telling him we should just be friends? LOLOLOLOL Finally, I just yes'd him all the way. He wasn't making sense. It made me feel really odd and wrong for doing that. Some guys just can't deal with it.

I'm gonna stick to the good ol fashioned way. Guys make moves first! I prefer it that way actually. I love the butterflies on my stomach. Those moments are magic.

depends on the guy, some guys like it when a gfirl is very forward if not a little aggressive... other guys are very timid and like it because it takes the pressure off of them, still there are other guys who think is makes a girl desperate... sorry I can't be of more help..  it jsut depends on the guy really.. make sure you know him well enough to be kissing him in the first place or asking him out or whatever it is your planning to make the first move with..

Haha. This is a good one. It is not weird for a girl to make the first kiss. It is just written in stone as a rule that guys make the first move. Rules get broken though. You can make the first move if you want, or you can put the whole cute girl routine. Make him want to make the first move.

Trust me, I mean this with all my heart when I say guys have a tough time reading a girl's signs. It is impossible. We do not know what you want or when you want it. So if you are ready for the first kiss and you want him to make the first move, you need to be sure that the signals you give off are well understood.

But if you are just asking can girls make the first move, then sure. Of course they can =)

Hmm. Yes and no. Yes, if the vibe is "we should be kissing but haven't yet." You know, maybe you guys are talking real close and want to and you know he is trying to find a moment. If you do it first, or even lean in a little but let US kiss YOU, that works. We don't think, "man, she's forward." We don't anything about it. Other than maybe you're into us as much as we are into you. No emasculating feelings, I promise.

No, if it's not the right mood. If you're with him at a clothing store and he's trying stuff on and looking through the racks, and you just plant one on him, it feels needy. Guys don't do good with needy.

Just don't come in a thousand miles per hour. I had a girl do that to me and my training kicked in because it look like it was a head butt and I move to one side avoiding her kiss. (that look like a head butt because of the speed she was moving at)

You can imagine both our surprise on our faces as I was standing there in my fighting stance ready to drop a right hand into her temple, and she standing there kissing the air were I was just a split second earlier.

I don't think it's weird for a girl to make the first move. I was at a club recently for halloween, and I bumped into a girl I knew from work. We said hi real quick then parted ways. Later on tho she surprised me by walking right up to me and asking me to dance with her. TOTAL turn on, and we had a good time.

So you see...as long as you keep things feeling casual I don't see it as like a social fopaux.

Depends on the situation?... It is pretty great when the girl makes the first move, because believe it or not..most likely the guy is thinking the exact same thing...but, more pressure..because the stereotype is "guys make the first move"...  but, when a girl does it, it alleviates all of it!

Yes because we guys like to stay in the safe side we don't like to get rejected by girls, it turns guys on when a girl comes to us and kiss's us.

No because we would think or at least I would think that girl is desperate.

I personally would like to know if a girl likes me or not before I talk to her in this matter.

But if it's just for the average scene, then make sure you know the right timing, because if you kiss a girl out of the blue, then

1. you'd get slapped

2. you'd get sacked.

3. she'd be confused as to why you kissed her in the first place.

4. something good comes out of it.

However, there are a few guys who feel that it should be them to make the first move because their the men. So I recon it's totally dependant on the lad.

If you both like each other, I don't think it really matters who does what, as long as it's kind of balanced. Like if you kiss him first, then you might want to wait a little bit to see if he wants to hang out with you more, or to go on a date. Just don't make him think he doesn't have a lot of self-confidence if your always asking him out. You want him to be comfortable around you too and be able to do stuff with you too.
