Do guys like when girls make the first move?

Question

I've been thinking about asking this one guy out cause I heard from my friends that he's kinda shy when it comes to asking girls out, but will open up if she makes the first move, and I'm really nervous. So I just wanna hear anyone's opinion on the topic...

... mainly to give myself some confidence for tomorrow lol because I'll be seeing him in person and I wanna ask him that way instead of through a text.

Me yes.
Year ago I moved out to Calf. for a while, and there was a club not very far from where I was living, and I would go in to listen to the music, and I would sit at the bar, just enjoying the music, looking happy, smiling and I could not believe the number of women that came up and asked me to dance.
I am from the midwest, and that would rarely ever happen.
So the more that I was out dancing the more often I would get asked to dance.
It was great, I felt that someone was actually interested in me.
I asked a few of the women why they asked me to dance, told them I had never had that happen to me before, and they said it was because I looked like I was enjoying myself and was having a good time.
I wasn't acting like a typical Calf. guy, all prim and proper, having just the right clothes on, posing just so, I was just there to enjoy the music.
Asking in person to me is the best, it shows you care, are sincere.
It is easy to just text someone, but to do so in person is a much better way to do that, but I am older and back in the day we didn't have cell phones, so maybe that is the way it is done today.

You pretty much have your answer from majority that answered.
The question is if you really gonna learn or not.

An hint is that many males take female's more seriously if she is the one.
Even a higher chance of that he get more attached.
Then do you have the thing that some only can get feelings if she does that.

Just don't give up easily. it can be thing's many female's interpret as a rejection that isn't.
If you are uncertain just ask if he is interested. and that you are in him. start with that you are otherwise do it have a tendency to get a fake reply of not interested.
Just e patient.
Some have delayed emotional response and change their mind later on.

Play it safe, and play it smart. You've seen guys on here say that they love it when girls make the first move, but sadly, in real world, that is NOT the truth. Some guys may like it, while others won't. Your guy would get disinterested quickly if you keep pursuing him. Let him pursue you, just show some interest and give hints. Guys LOVE the chase, but don't play games, because as the saying goes:
"play stupid games, win stupid prizes"

Give some hints, IF he does not pick up on it, then maybe bring it up *casually* and say: "hey, would you maybe wanna go out with me some time?" That's it. If he is shy, then yeah, maybe ask him out. You ain't got anything to lose.

I always see that guys like it, but it’s NEVER worked out for me. Everytime I make the first move the guy will be flattered and interested at first and then get disinterested really quickly. But if the guy makes the first move then he doesn’t lose interest unless we weren’t compatiable.

I feel like they really do like to be the one pursuing tbh. Maybe it has to do with their manhood or ego. Just as it makes us women feel more feminine to be approached rather then doing the approaching.

But you should still give it a shot. You have nothing to lose (that you don’t already have 😉).

I am a guy and I have two adorable 🙂 bunnies one is black 🖤 one is white 🤍 both Holland loops lol the white one jumps at me whenever I walk by her cage like pet me she turns to butter and melts when I do and sits her head on her neck fur like she's a pearl on a pillow lol with her ears down the sides. The black one is different she's younger moody and when I try moving things around she will nip at me like this is my house lol. Every time I go near her cage she will sometimes comes near she won't lick my finger or let me pet her like my white 🐰 she taps me with her nose and turn away like chase me and open the cage also when she licks my finger she starts nipping she's all around more aggressive. I see it as a compliment.

I don’t mind it when a woman initiates sex either. And the more blunt and crude her approach is, the better.

Guys won't (usually) admit it, but sometimes they can be totally clueless about starting (any sort of) a relationship, even going out for a hot dog. So, if you like the guy, or just want to meet him to find out if you DO like him, do yourself and him both a favor: talk to him, ask him for a "date", and relieve all that tension of "not knowing".

For me its a sign a girl might actually take the relationship seriously if she is going to come into the relationship so strong headed. If she sees what she wants I'd expect my other half to be to the point and not like a dulled blunt sword. I'm not interested in a woman I have to fix.

First of all you don't ask someone 'out', you invite them to do something fun with you. There's certainly nothing wrong with that.
But if you think you're going to be the man in the relationship then all bets are off.

Usually shy guys like me likes it cuz we're not exactly sure how to approach you without making a fool out of ourselves, but if a girl makes the first move it gives us kind of a boost and then we would be ourselves...
