How to approach a guy at the grocery store?

I work in a grocery store ... for five years, throughout high school and a I was a manager after ... it's almost too easy in a grocery store for a girl. It literally happens everyday, where some guy meets some girl and a phone number is exchanged. There's a million things you could do, lol, you don't have to dodge 'em, lol we won't bite - we're looking for food. What Homer said is a good example.

You could also Look down at your list and "accidentally bump" into his cart and then just say "oop's didn't mean to run ya off the road" and then get his name and keep flirting.

You can pass by him and when you do act like your looking for something in the same area and say "where are the Cheerios" and name whatever is in the aisle, but not directly in front of you. Like ask where the Cheerios are when your in front of the Captain crunch, you know just like you already know him; they're usually relatively close. And then just keep it going like "I don't know why but I can never seem to find what I want!" and see if he has trouble too. Because he probably does!!! *Hint, hint*

If you catch the guy when he looks curious - that's one of your best times to talk to him, he usually needs help finding something anyway.

You can ask a guy if he is shopping because he can cook - this is something that can clue you in on if he has a girl friend if you keep it going, like "who do you cook for? Just yourself"

You can walk by him and drop something to see if he picks it up, like grab a flyer, walk by him and hold it so the middle drops and you still have the outside page - see if he helps you pick it up and if he will take the "gentleman approach." I saw that done once, and it worked!

Try to stand next to him in the line at the deli or bakery, startup a conversation - you have a little bit of time if you are not the only two people in line.

But like there's a lot to work with in this situation, like just go through the store and look at how many people, just startup conversations anyway; just because they're standing next to each other - they bring up the weather; how long the lines are; how much the store sucks lol (these people usually you want to avoid - complainers, lol; or what they plan on eating or looking for in the store. And if you are allergic to anything, I'm joking but I'm serious here, don't start up a conversation near that; like if you are allergic to oranges - wait for another opportunity to talk to him, lol that was pretty funny to watch, "Yeah I like oranges too" this one guy said ... Then I was getting paged to call an ambulance for him, because he "forgot" he was allergic; not the most attractive moment I have to say,lol.

Try to reach to the top shelf or at least appear so, and ask him if he could help you. Or if he is looking at a specific brand of any item ask him how it is different than the one you prefer and why he prefers it. In a grocery store, ceiling is your limit :)
