Is it normal that my ex girlfriend has completely changed and gone all out after a break up?

My ex and I had been dating for 1.5 years. The day after our anniversary she left me telling me she loved me but she did not think I was the one anymore. I've done research on y women leave men and I have found out y and what the reasons were. But that's not important right now as I would like to know y my ex has changed drastically. She left me 18 days ago. She has 2 best friends and one of them was pregnant which she has helped her financially in everything cause the guy left her. And the other one who is about to get married this summer. Now she was closer the the prego one and now they rarely talk anymore. Its like she doesn't want to be friends with her anymore. Also she was my first and I was her first. She always told me she wanted to wait till marriage. She was so sure of marrying me that we did in fact sleep together. Now I'm hearing she is not sleeping with guys but that she is messing around as you would say. She was never this kind of person at all. She also planned to visit her hometown on her spring break from college and has booked a hotel for holding parties and stuff. She was never into drinking whatsoever. She hated the idea of drinking. what I'm saying is that she was a sweet girl and really strong about her beliefs. She always stuck to them no matter what. But now I see her as a totally different person. Is it possible that these actions are just her emotional feelings saying screw my beliefs I'm going all out and I'm doing whatever?

Everyone goes through "that stage" where they want to see all the fun they're missing out on on the other side of the fence, so to speak, especially girls in their late teens/early 20s. Just give her some time to sort things out. There's no telling if she'll come around in the future once she levels out. It's quite possible she just wants to do her own thing for now, which will end up in you two drifting apart.
