So D (first initial of his name) a long back story but will cut through: - meet, date briefly when we study in foreign country. - come from different continents. - stay vaguely in touch, over bdays & politics - I go on a long trip, visiting my uncle who is a short flight away from D. - visit D, intense 4 days & we cry when I leave I write a letter six months later, 2019 was a year of dealing with my mental health and letter writing was therapeutic. Send letter (with a book he lent me and gifts for his mum - as she hosted me). Please note, a part of me THEN had hope to reconnect, but I knew that would be selfish and mentioned that I wish him all the best and didn't want anything. Connect tiny bit in March - covidcatchup 13/08 Wake up D's best friend V had messaged from him saying he's broken up with his ex & she'd sent me mean messages from his account. I saw them & they were horrific, but my day was busy, his ex, this girl P (for psycho) is in a lot of pain so don't dwell. Later in the day, more messages, and he calls, says he can see them but not stop it (suspicious). He also says he needs to rip her the letter or, he never says or what but is crying & I got the impression he is insinuating she would make up rape allegations. I say don't worry, and let's catch up when he's in a better place. I message V because I am concerned and she is there. V mentions this girl is verbally abusive & she'll be there for D - fine i have shit to do. 09/09 A friend who knows and still has D on FB says hey why are they back together? V says she thinks so 11/09 Confirms I don't get it but anyway, P messages V and V tells me (we have met b4 & gotten along 20/09 Wake up to a voicnote from D, himself, saying I told you, fuck off stop messaging my friends & I hate you & you're a bitch & YOU R OBSSESSED With ME Now I don't care, it hurts a bit, but if P can get help & apologise I would get it, having been in bad places myself. But him? Eurgh if that's who you want to date boy bye
