I miss my ex who sexually assaulted me and he wants me back?

Me and my ex who have been together for 2yrs 1/2 he sexually assaulted me a week after we broke up. It’s been 3 months and I cry almost everyday because I miss him and I’m hurt for what he did. He has tried reaching out multiple times saying how sorry he is and how much he regrets what he did that he doesn’t even know why he did that. I finally spoke to him a few days ago and he says he wants to be here for me & he’s been trying to work on himself and better himself as a person. He wants to come see me this weekend. I’m tempted to after not seeing for months I really miss him and I miss what we had. I just wish things could go back to normal. What should I do?

Not be a idiot and not go back at that point u are putting yourself at risk life ain't a joke so why would u treat it that way
