Guys, I revealed my feelings to my ex one day. He answered my message. What does his answer mean?

Just like in the title - I visited my ex one day and I felt we have some type of chemistry. Unfortunately I think I might still like him because I feel sexual tension, the chemistry in our conversation is great and I think I might feel somethng for him for all those 6 years aince our break up. I only had 1 relationship while he was in 4 during that time.

I said I'm sorry that I putted him in uncomfortable position by writing that to him. I asked him if he feels the same way (In few days I'm breaking up with my current boyfriend, since I don'th lovew him. And he broke with his ex few months ago). He answered that I shouldn't sorry about my feelings. Secondly, that I should focus now on finding a new job (I told him that I want to get out of my current) and other priorities (e. g. finind a new place to stay since I will move out from my current boyfriend place). And thirdly that he would love to have sex /w me once more since he loved having it with me when we were together. When I asked him directly what are his feelings he said that he cannot figure out his feelings for now so he cannot directly say fow now what he thinks. Guys, your thoughts? Is he avoiding to say his feelings because he only wants me for sexual desires? (We haven't had sex since we broke up) or is he still searching for a new person and I'm basically stuck having feelings for him?

My guess is that what that means is that he'd be happy to have sex with you but doesn't really want anything more than that. If he was interested in trying to have a relationship again I think he'd have said something about trying and seeing how it goes.

Just saying he isn't sure makes me think he thinks sex with you sounds good but doesn't think he wants anything else.

I can't help but feel this is a nice way of him saying I don't really want to get back together with you, but a fuck isn't out of the question.
