Just broke up with my now ex. I sincerely do believe he was an alcoholic. All the people he hangs out with drink excessively, he used to emotionally drink, I would secretly find empty bottles or nearly empty bottles even though he claims he wanted to focus on being healthy, he used to carry around alcohol in a bag filled with his things he would lug around, one time at a vacation wedding he drank excessively and I stayed sober, and he basically pushed me ( onto the bed) and then threw a fan at the door and he has always tried to excuse the behavior because he only pushed me onto the bed

I mean his lack of self control ended our relationship. Pretty sure he was out drinking with his usual crowd and when I mean out drinking, he was pretty sure drinking in a car with someone he used to do that with before we started dating. She chose alcohol over me. Oh well
