Am I wrong for breaking up with him because he talked to his ex?

So my now ex talked to his ex girlfriend. He cheated on me years ago and we split and during that time he got with someone else for a short while. So like 2 years ago we got back together and just like how he treated me when his ex told him to block me. I told him not to talk to any exes after he cheated. So he talked to her and I got mad and told him I couldn't trust him. He thinks I'm being unfair but I feel it's fair.

Does it matter what anybody else thinks about this? If you don't trust him, you move forward and block him on all media. If you remain in contact with him, you know what you want and you deserve it when it happens.

I get where you're coming from, honestly. It's obvious that this is a double standard in your relationship. He doesn't want to hold himself to the same standard that he holds you to, so it's better for you to go your separate ways.

he cheated on you before... you took him back. that means he thinks he can do anything. this time better be the last time you're with him, no more taking people back in general. once you're broken up, move on.
