If it's not working I normally will just end the relationship but there's always that one person lol.

I dated a guy in college that was toxic. Yeah, really hot, a bit of a douchebag. He was narcissistic, manipulative and a cheater. That's one I should've walked away from and I did a few times but I always came back. He was like a drug to me. I have zero excuses, the sex was out of this world, even when we fought he knew exactly what to say to work me like a puppet. If we broke up he would somehow make me feel guilty that it ended and the next thing I know I'd be in bed with him all over again.

So normally I will end the relationship if it's bad or not working but there's always that one person that just has that magic over you sometimes.

I stayed with my first ex. He was pretty much begging me to stay since apparently I had no reason to leave. But I wasn’t going to tolerate any of what he said. He wanted to get me pregnant when I was 17 and he was 19. I kept saying no and I’m glad I said no, sure if he got me pregnant I’d love the child but why I’m glad I said no was because I was still a child myself, I was not ready, I had no job and I knew he was going to walk away from it if I did had a child. But it was so painful to stay with him, he wouldn’t let me walk away, I had to wait for him to call off the relationship and boy was I happy.

I believe in fixing the problem working things out coming up with different solutions I don’t believe in throwing in the towel just because you’re having a bad time the only way that I walk away if she cheats on me sexually in person or even phone sex or cyber sexting that’s the ultimate relationship betrayal

If there are a few too many cracks in the foundation, the building isn't safe, and the builders are in trouble for half-assing it. The responsible thing is to abandon the building, and let it be torn down. Otherwise, you're asking for the roof to fall on you. Lesser things can be patched up, and may be worth it. But a rotten beyond hope foundation is game over.

Relationships are not so different from buildings, in that sense.

Besides the typical reasons?

Being controlling, be it emotional, physical, mental or financial.

I remember an ex getting mad because I bought a new phone, with my own money, without any impact on our expenses or financial.

Granted, I told her about a few months before that that I was not interested on getting it. I had a change of heart. Apparently, I should have told her that I had a change of heart.

I would only walk away if I’ve exhausted all options to find a way forward that is healthy and good for long term. I would walk away if there is no way to communicate and resolve things between us.

Why do some people still put up/stick it out even if it’s hurting them? Probably because of Hope for Change or Error in Judgment.

Someone stays in a bum fuck relationship because they have bad self-esteem and don't think they deserve any better. The only other reason I can think of is that they are complete lunatics if they stay.

I found myself on both ends of the spectrum in the past, not finna discuss on why I was on the bad end of the stick, but I walked away from my first relationship of constant bullshit from the person that didn't change.
