Can I get my husband back if he is filing for divorce and has his mind made up?

Husband and I have 10 years of history and 1 year old baby. Love him deeply and want it to work but he doesn’t. He hates that I nag/control:yell, but I do that because I don’t trust him because of past experiences with him that he never fixed.

anyway he asked for a divorce and we fought, got angry. It’s been 3 weeks since and he moved into the guest bedroom and we don’t communicate at all. And when he does talk to me it’s as if he hates/disgusted by me. Yet I didn’t cheat or anything. I feel like he has someone else but regardless I’m dying to make it work and to be in his arms again. Can I still get him back?

You didn't say it directly, so I won't assume; has he cheated on you in the past? If so, take him back, and he will cheat again.

Yes. He cheated numerous times 4 years ago before we got married. After we got married I catch his eyes over other women all the time. Have i ever fought him physically since we got married? No. But does he make me feel unloved /unappreciated /not good enough? Yes. I don’t feel like he’s earned the trust back or reassured me that he would never hurt me again.
I can’t seem to let him go still and the fact that he’s pinning the blame on me kills me even more

I guess it's just difficult for you to wrap your head around what he said. He told you why: he's tired of you bitching at him, whether it warranted or not. Women, please hear this: we will almost NEVER respond well to being bitched at or nagged. Of course you think he has someone else... so predictable.

A lot of men seek peace in a relationship or marriage so if you are not bringing that, then that will make him lose respect and interest.


There’s also a good chance he has met someone else and needs an excuse to leave you. Either way, I know it hurts to hear this but let him go. It doesn’t sound like he wants you anymore.

Clearly u can't he dont feel the same way towards you and even if he did u still have issues with him and dont trust him so the marriage wouldn't work anyway
