Why do I feel sad and about to cry when I found out my first love got married?

I was scrolling facebook and saw that my First Love got married. We were together last 2015-2017 and we haven't seen each other basically in a long distance relationship. after 4 years he created a dummy account on instagram and commented on one of my photos and I messaged the account and found out it was him, he was apologizing on the break up before (It was a 3rd party, and he got into trouble during those and I was there by his side even though he is being toxic) He wanted to renew our relationship that time he reached out but I was currently in a relationship that time so I turned it down. Then we constantly talk about life and career and got quiet for some time and when I saw the post I got sad and got a slight pain. Why am I feeling like this?

First off, improve your writing.

Second, when people are bonded to others that bond doesn't just go away. I saw my first love married with two children and it hurt, even tho it was a decade ago. She was mine, I had to let her go, but it still hurt to see her moved on and at a different stage of her life.
