Will karma ever get my ex?

My ex mentally abused me for a very very long time. Also cheated on me a lot which I never even knew about it because like that I was told I was nuts.
I’m just wondering as I reflect sometimes on the bad things he’s done to me will this man ever feel pain or will he always get his way in life and get everything he wants?

I’m not being petty but there was times with him mentally abusing me I felt like ending my life and he knew this and continued to do it while also bringing me down about my depression even tho it was his abuse that had me like that.

Will this man ever suffer or will he always be smiling?

Your question is not as simple as what you may think. I’ll briefly explain. Although we have no way of knowing what your ex will experience in this brief life on planet earth,

1) The Bible tells us that ALL will be held accountable for ALL of our sins (Romans 12:19, Hebrews 10:30, Deuteronomy 32:35, numbers 32:23, Ecclesiastes 12:14, etc).

2) Then book of Amos tells us that (among other things) we ought to be careful when wishing judgement upon others, as we ourselves will face judgement for our own sins. When we wish ill upon others, we might as well be wishing ill upon ourselves, since, again, we will ALL be held accountable for ALL of our sin.

3) all that to say, yes, your ex will be held accountable for his wrongdoings….. and so will you.

How long ago did this happen?

I understand the feeling. Honestly, I do. But one thing I've learned over the years is that you cannot allow yourself to be consumed by this kind of desire. The best revenge is to live a good, happy, and healthy life. Live well. If you wrap up your happiness in seeing someone else suffer, even if they did terrible things to you, not only is that morally wrong, but it is also destructive to yourself.

It happened a little over a year ago but the abuse has only stopped 2 months ago as I put a big stop to it.
But I get what your saying it’s not that i want him to suffer I’m just sick of seeing him so happy and care free like nothing ever happened like life couldn’t be any better like he gets everything he wants and I get through life step by step and honestly have to try so hard to get places I just wish he could even feel remorse maybe
