He blocked me after getting my stuff back? why?

I've been trying to get my apple watch back from the longest from my boyfriend now ex. He had his own and asked if he could use mine for a day for work. He has one of the older ones, I have the newer. His was broken he desperately wanted to use mine because he told me work will be boring without it. He said he just needed it for a day and that he was letting someone else borrow his. he drove to my house to get it and that when he gets off work I'll have to drive and get it back. So after he gets off work he tells me i can get it but he still needs it. AND tells me his watch is actually broken.

I let him use it some more just to be nice. I can't remember what happened but I got mad at him. It was a Saturday and he didn't call or text me the whole entire day. But called me Sunday morning and I got angry and told him i wanted my watch back. At first he said it was his and that he was keeping it. He said i could get it back and meet him at this spot he's always at when i get off work. I get off work and he goes there but doesn't answer the phone or my texts. It has location on it and i can see he's at the spot but he doesn't say anything. He goes to another place near my house after an hour and tells me he's busy with family and that he's going to give it to me at midnight instead when he's at home. I get angry and drive to his location and he hands it to me and says i shouldve waited until midnight to get it. He calls me the next day to yell at me for coming to his location and that he has another girl apple watch and that i was being a big baby. But shortly ask to borrow mine again because the one he was using was weird. I let him use mine but he starts joking about seeing other women. I told him to give me back if he's going to be talking to other women. He gets angry and tells me its his and that its for him and that im never getting it back. But later tells me I can get it. He does the thing where he wants me to meet up somewhere and it never happens for two weeks.

I ended up pulling to his location again, called and told him what i was going to do and we didn't say a word but he handed it to me. I didn't talk to him that morning but later on found out i was blocked.
He blocked me after getting my stuff back? why?
