Getting back with ex?

My ex and I have broken up for about 2-3 months ago now. I’ve missed him a lot and i tried texting him some days ago about maybe seeing each other again. But something really bothers me. I was attracted because of his personality of course and his physical looks. But he changed everything about his looks that I liked to the worse and specifically things I hated. A very ugly haircut and he changed his outfit style to something ugly which we created together and he really liked the new style that I gave him. He also has the biggest beard and he KNOWS I hate it so much. I don’t really like his new appearance and I may sound very selfish but it does bother me a lot if we end up dating again and he doesn’t want to change back to the guy I know

Why do so many women insist on dating a guy with the idea that they will make him change into the man they want him to be? And has that strategy ever worked even once in the history of the entire world?

I don't think his appearance has anything to do with you anymore , and he is sending you a pretty clear message , you do sound like a bit of a control freak , so his message is clear.

I'd drop the idea if I were you , think its over.

? people change. that's just life. i think he moved on, that's very clear with how he's dressing/looking/acting.
