My ex is still yelling at me and arguing with me. Why is that?

We are coworkers, he broke up with me, still cannot manage to stay calm. He is rising his voice and starts yelling for minor things.

Why can't he act normal? I mean I still love him, but that's too much.

I don’t think that behavior was only exclusive to him as a boyfriend. If he tends to get angry and raise his voice or whatever then that won’t change just because you broke up. If I were you I’d stand up for myself and/or call him out.

If you get back together, you just walk away and don't continue the conversation until he is calm, tell him so. Lock yourself in a room, if you have to. It's the best way to deal with it.
