First of me and my ex broke up last year on May but long story short she ended up blocking me during October then she unblocked me after 2 months of no contact on December and we started talking with a lot of back and forth, she asked about my health and I told her about my moods being unpredictable and getting treatment for it and she told me of her plans of flying back to her country to spend time with family and We wished each other merry Christmas and happy new years
All of a sudden two weeks she left me on read but she didn't block me and I'm just confused on why she would do that after we had amazing back and forth. I even texted her on an app that she rarely used a couple days ago and she read the message within 10 mins and last I checked she kept coming online then offline on that app
I asked a friend of mine about it and he said that she'll reply soon and she's just mentally preparing herself and waiting for me to get better as when she first messaged me she realised she wasn't ready to talk. Am I just thinking too much into it and my friend was just feeding me false hope or is it really like that?

She's not sure about getting back together. She's just being soft as a friend. You're putting a lot of pressure on her to fix things fast, and that won't help. Give it a while, if it doesn't work, there's nothing else you can do
this doesn't necessarily mean she wants to get back with you. what are you hoping for? also, she did say she was traveling to her family. it could be a million things, but it's not on her priority list to text back.
