Did my friend ghosted me?

We used to talk here on gag and he just left and stopped logging in. Its been 8 mos now. He also ghost me too back then. He disappeared for 1 year and half and he said he got a girlfriend and she left him and came to talk to me again thats why he disappeared. Im just missing my friend.

It does kinda seem like he's ghosting again since it's been almost a year with no word. That's a really long time to just disappear without an explanation. Makes me think either he's avoiding you for some reason or just isn't that good of a friend.

If I were you, I'd give him the benefit of the doubt for now. But I wouldn't sit around waiting for him to pop back up whenever he feels like it. You deserve friends who are reliable and put in effort too, you know?

Maybe try reaching out one more time, but then I'd say it's time to start moving on. Go hang with other friends who won't ghost you. And if this dude ever resurfaces again, I'd be real skeptical of letting him back in fully until he proves he's changed. Don't let him mess with your feelings, girl! You'll find better friends.

Actually I don't know why but he said he likes me but I reached out to him so many times but then again he's offline? And never been online since I don't know if he's found another woman or maybe he's maybe has illness that can't even use a phone. But I'll move on now

Aww man, that's super mixed signals from your friend. Saying he likes you but then ghosting constantly is not cool at all.

Part of me wonders if he's just not that into you but doesn't want to say it outright, you know? Guys can be cowards about that stuff sometimes. The other possibility is maybe he's got some personal issues going on that make it hard to be reliable.

Either way though, you hitting him up all the time and getting nothing back in return will just drive you crazy and hurt your self-esteem after awhile. As much as you care about him, you gotta take care of yourself too girl!

My advice would be don't reach out anymore. If he really likes you and sorts his stuff out, hopefully he'll come talk to you. But for now, you deserve someone who makes an effort and doesn't leave you hanging all the time wondering what's up. Go enjoy your life – the right person for you won't leave you guessing like that. Lol yeah Im actually open to dating again Im keeping myself busy I want to move on fast. Hope I'll find a hubby before age 30.

Yeah definitely gotta keep yourself busy so you're not sitting around thinking about that guy. Nothing wrong with having dating as a priority either, you do you girl!

Finding a hubby before 30 does seem like a pretty reasonable goal. I'm sure there's lots of cool guys out there who'd be down too. Can't say I blame you for wanting to settle down, being married young seems like it'd be sweet.

Maybe try changing up where you meet people - like joining a sports league, taking a class, volunteering somewhere you can socialize. Putting yourself out there in new places is bound to increase your chances of finding the right dude.

And don't be afraid to make the first move if you like somebody! A lot of guys really appreciate when a girl takes that initiative. You seem cool, I'm sure you'll have no problem getting back out there if you put in a little effort. Wishing you the best of luck in your search!
