How much time does it take you to move on with your life when you break up from someone?

I believe that a lot of women are good at it, they dump you today and after a week they got their whole life back on the track as if you have never existed 🤣🤣

I thought that when someone breaks up after years of love and promises and living together, that it will be so hard for them to cope and live their lives, BUT nope, not with tik tok and instagram around 😂😂

The guy started meeting new girls just one day after his break up but he said that it's just for fun and doesn't want love anymore because he was dumped by his girlfriend just like that and the girl started doing tik tok just after 1 month or so, seducing clips and wearing sexy outfits and snapping photos with her female friends as if they were never together...

I'm laughing about how the world today works 😏

I do believe that women can adapt and forget a lot easier than men, especially that they are the ones who usually quits!

All of my exes were the ones that broke up with me. And to be very honest... I got over them all pretty fast. If they chose to leave me, then they didn't see me as worth being with. I'm not gonna try and stay with someone that holds those thoughts towards me or have any lingering feelings towards them.

If you were truly in love with the person I would say 6 months to 1 year. I have had relationships where as soon as we break up I'm having sex with other women and I feel better initially, but the depression will come back and forth. So I would say 6 months to a year

I think everyone is different including break ups and each love. As for me, I usually moved on pretty fast with all my exes within a few months or so 😅🤣 except my last one…. It seems to be taking me longer than I expected and I guess I’m still healing from it. But I am the type who likes to keep myself busy, do things to cheer myself up, and move forward as much as possible instead of dealing with my emotions. I’ll let myself have those days if needed, but I keep a strong mind and will to moved on.

In your opinion, do you think that you have truly loved this person? If yes, than how can you move on fast and than living tour life like he never existed? If it's cheating, i can understand that it will help you to move on fast because you were hurt so much but if you both broke up for an argument or shallow things, wouldn't it lasts a lot longer to heal?

Yes, I loved him a lot which is why I think it’s taking me longer to heal…. aka I’m not fully over him. I can still live my life while not being over someone because my life doesn’t stop even if I’m hurting or sad, no matter what, I always keep going. I have priorities and goals to achieved. My happiness and future still matters. This is why I mentioned I’m a strong minded person lol. I know many people aren’t like this, but that’s just how I am even if life is tough - I keep moving forward and doing me because that’s all I can do than dwell on feeling sorry for myself or my sad feelings. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so lonely and so depress after a break up Iike my last one, but it just showed me how much I loved him so. Though I’m no longer feeling depressed nor lonely about it now as I’ve passed that phase. I do wanna add that someone can loved a person a lot and moving on fast doesn’t take away that meaning because everyone grieves differently and maybe able to let go faster depending on the circumstance/person. I believe it’s harder for those who isn’t able to let go and accept the ending.

It’s sad whenever I hear people say “love isn’t enough”…. But I guess in some ways it might be true. Though I’m still a firm believer if two people truly love each other, they will make it work somehow. Every situation is different why people love yet break up rather it may be due to incompatibility, long distance, not ready to commit or make compromises, poor communication and lack of mutual understanding, not able to provide or not knowing how to provide each others love language, needs aren’t being met, and etc.

That's true, anyways the things that you have named are the ingredients of love and when there's real love from both side, they can make it work or keep trying until it works, they will make it work because they love each other and find it hard to continue without being with each other!

Most times I moved in a couple of months later. But when I lost "the one" it took me about eight years to let them go.
