Stupid are those who: - stereotype - are afraid of doing it because they are afraid of the ridicule. Why should you sacrifice your happiness for what people might or might not think of you?
I have dated 2 latinas and 1 black girl. It's never been a problem for me. In fact, I think I prefer them.

You should NOT date other races! You will have children that will look nothing like yourself and will have identity issues. You will contribute to destroying your own race as well. There is NO BENEFIT whatsoever from race mixing, only loads of potential problems. The idea of race mixing is promoted because those in power want to destroy existing identities and create a sea of rootless people who will be too weak to resist manipulation. Stick to your own race, raise children that will look like yourself, preserve existing diversity of races, preserve your identity.
I am mixed race and... I look like mother I do not have an identity crisis There are benefits of having mixed race children as they have an heterozygous advantage. Meaning their children are more likely to be genetically healthy, for example, who are less likely to catch flu or who live a little bit longer.
You are entitled to your own opinions, but I don't know how well thought out they are. The children you talk about are all mixed in some way, whether by some other culture or race down the line. Remember, we as a species are all related, the human race is your race. As for the power struggle of mixing races to promote 'rootless people', it simply isn't true. If anything, I feel they're trying to keep people separate. That's where the most fighting comes from is when you believe one race is superior to another. And by not mixing races in the past, history has given us plenty of proof that people are so uneducated they inbreed to keep that family line in tact. As the races mix, borders and boundaries are not destroyed. Look at America, the biggest melting pot on the planet. I think by mixing races and cultures gives off a better breed of enlightened people. I'm not saying your wrong, but you should expand your mind a little. Don't get stuck there.
There's some truth to this. Look at Obama. The guy was raised exclusively by white people, yet he identifies exclusively as black. He's even admitted that he struggled with his own identity as a young man and snorted half of Cambridge up his nose trying to figure it all out. I would hate to put a kid through that kind of angst purposefully. I can't imagine how troubled a person has to be to reject the race of the very people who raised him.
@mexborough Racial identity is very real. We wouldn't have all this obsession with race if it wasn't. You don't want to lose your identity, cause if you do, you will be in a lot of pain. When a whole society starts to lose identity, it spells trouble.
@Goldie757 This is not true. Race mixing causes all kinds of potential health problems. In the long run, it only destroys existing races and existing identities. What is your heritage? Your mother's or your father's? Is it both? That's hardly an identity, especially if the two start to clash. Since we have more and more racial hatred, what will you do when riots break out next time and you don't belong to either side? Or if society splits along racial lines? Where will you belong?
So what happens if a white blue eyed blonde haired dude gets with a white brown haired green eyed girl? Someone is bound to lose to the dominate genes when having a kid.
@CapricornSwagL We have never had more focus on race and more racial conflict in history. If anything racial hatred and violence will only increase. I think only a fool would want children of mixed race under such conditions, even if they didn't care about their own heritage - which they should.
Interracial dating is mostly a bad idea. I can't imagine having to listen to a black girl tell me how Michael Brown was a martyr of social justice and that I don't understand because I'm blinded by my 'white privilege.' I'd rather do prison time than have to nod mindlessly while listening to such nonsense.
Curious, why do you think that would come up? I do not think that would be a topic for discussion, unless you bring it up. I don't usually debate people over race issues, even if promoted. The only time I do is if the person is truly ignorant to what they are talying about. I honestly don't care who dates who, but if you do date outside your race you should definitely not debate issues of race. That will kill a relationship fast. Just my two cents. Lol ---sorry for the extended comment.
@Nettie29Howie My question for you is, how could it *not* come up? Racial issues are front-burner these days. It seems like there's a new issue being reported in the news on a weekly basis. I think at some point it would come up, and there would be almost zero chance that our views would be in concert. I don't think there's any way that you could be with someone long term and manage to willfully ignore a topic as consequential as racial discord in America.
@Jay-Are No, I get it, I get that there are folks like yourself who want to push some sort of multicultural totalitarianism with a goal of forcing us all to think alike.
@jacquesvol His (pseudo) intellectual heirs did. Sorry. It is no accident that this sort of movement popped up when the old Soviet Empire fell apart in the late 1980s.
Opinion Owner, there are black and white couples all over the world today, a lot of them have been married a long time and are still together. Obviously they didn't let any sort of 'racial debate' get in the way of their relationship and happiness. Same goes for the younger interracial couples. Personally, I'd find it exhausting and redundant to talk about the same topic (race) all the time. Couples argue and have differences all the time, doesn't mean they let it ruin their relationship.
I still racial issues will come up at some point, and I must tell you, most white people view Sandra Bland and Michael Brown very differently than black people. And yes, there are black female/white male couples, but they're extremely rare.
I get out plenty, and I live in a city of 6 million people, a million of them black. Black people stick with black people, whites with whites (and Hispanics). People just prefer others with whom they share commonality.
You mean you want whites and everyone else to stick to their own races. Six million people in a city and not one interracial couple? No one is buying that. Go troll somewhere else.
I know its lovely for different races to join together its beautiful like all people are no matter what your race or religion x

No, a person "should" not date outside his/her race.
A person will or not, may or may not, and it is all fine.
What people "should" do, is not to disparage others that do or do not. It is no one else's business what race a person dates or doesn't date.
And having dated white from a few countries, black from a few countries, Asians from many countries, Hispanics, Eurasian, blasian, mestiza, and mulatto, I ought to know.

Obviously I did NOT mean people should only date other races and exclude their own. That's not the message I was trying to portray. I should have picked a different title cause it seems to be the only thing a lot of people are focused on.
Your point is that people should, nothing said of exclusivity, BECAUSE there is a difference. That rationale is just as racist as someone refusing to date someone because of race. In the latter, there are some reasonable reasons why someone might not want to date a different race. Whereas, if the only reason a person dates outside of his/her race is because of race, then that is racist.
Think of this: Suppose you are, oh, Filipino. A white guy asks you out and you end up in bed. He doesn't seem all that interested in what you have to say, so you ask "Why did you want to go out with me?" "Because I wanted to know what it was like to have sex with a Filipino." How would that make you feel?
I personally don't care. I find a set of characteristics attractive and some unattractive and it doesn't matter what race a woman is who has them. Those characteristics are more common in some races than others, and it is fair to recognize that.
There's too much conflict that comes with that. If I brought home a non-white guy, it would not go over smoothly. Additonally i dont want any children i have to be confused about where they belong. Plus, I don't find non white guys attractive. Call me racist or whatever... doesn't change anything. And like someone else said, you are you to tell me I "should?"

I'm surprised people are still using that excuse lol.
I am Asian American, but I do like Women of every race as long as they are Christian, because I have Christian beliefs. It's just my choice. Also even though I do like Women of every race as I mentioned above I usually prefer White, or Hispanic Women too. However remember that this is just only my opinion too. :).

So mytake what is your opinion on Indian people who still adhere to caste system and for the most part only marry/date other Indians and/or white person (due to that light skin which is considered high class in caste).

Not only Indians but Asians and others as well. I've noticed a lot of non-black people would date someone outside of their race but as long as the person isn't 'dark' or black. I've heard it many times from Asian guys, they prefer a white girl, latina or a mixed black girl who looks more white than black and if she has gray or green eyes it's a plus.
Personally, I feel you should date whoever you want. If you have a connection with someone of a different race then go for it, if they're the same race as you still go for it. When we want to date someone or are attracted to someone, we shouldn't let them being of a different race stop us nor should we exclude dating our own race. When you look at it, we're all human, one race.
Hey this is great and fun and if i will marry i want to foreign girl this is very good i think people should love each other races colours is not important and also variety is so good my friend :)

Nice work and such beautiful people. We are all brothers and sisters and will live happier lives when we all accept each other and learn from each other. Cheers.
I believe you should date someone because of their personality and compatibility. However, I've dated Latinos, east men and whites. I enjoyed each relationship ^.^
I have a preference towards a certain type of race. Even though I have that preference, I date women of any race because I find that they're all attractive.
I like your take but I don't think we share the same thoughts about it. You should date who ever you feel strongly attracted to regardless of their race, we are all in fact humans so why only date someone from your own race, that's my philosophy.
Break the stereotypes lol I'm still going to stereotype everyone even if they don't like the things or are irritated people need to be able to poke fun at their race and stop being such pansies xD

cool story bro. considering your points have no real valid basis. racial identity is fabricated.

But that's just it--the only kind of woman you could date, let alone marry, would be one that *doesn't* buy into that Cultural Marxism.
Thank you for showing that these articles are needed because you clearly don't get it.

@Afrochick Given your reputation on this site, it's pretty ironic for you to call anyone else a troll.
@CapricornSwagL There's so much racial self-pity within you it's palpable.

I just knew this would catch hate. Didn't expect every poster to hate on it though. Surprised there.

Does a half white half black girl dating a white guy count?
My wife won't approve it. I don't know why.
In what context?
@UnknownXYZ
She says it would be cheating. Try to understand that..

"I don't know why..." "She says it would be cheating. Try to understand that.." Try to understand what your own wife is saying.
