Better you should say it's OK to have REALISTIC standards. Because some women have absurdly high standards when they are no prize themselves. Obviously there is nothing wrong with dumping a guy when what he brings to a relationship begins and ends with his penis. i agree you should have some standards. a mother is concerned with the well being of her future children. two problems though. 1) i dont think you are as physically attractive as you think. 2) i think you rejected him more for the "ambitions" part (poverty) than his character and love towards you.
