Your go-girl-power-men-are-babies mind set is fleeting. With age comes maturity and earned perspective so this too shall pass. Society has programmed us against our natural instincts and everyone is suffering. All vent it differently; e. g. this my-take/article and possibly the “men’s whining” my-takes/articles you mention. Unfortunately, this trend of social degradation will continue until some worldwide life-changing event occurs. Hang on and hope for the best when it happens.
Maybe men aren't interested because MANY women are out of shape slobs with kids that have no father, they're uneducated, uninteresting, not very helpful or charming, but they act like they are some kind of madonna. So we men don't marry them because why would we?

As far as the whole feminism thing, as mentioned in #4, I don't care if she *is* a feminist; but one of my BIGGEST deal-breakers is women who hit men (or who justify it) - unless it's in self-defense, including for sexual harassment. They're the first to yell at the top of their lungs that men shouldn't hit women, and I can't date a girl who will treat my gender as slapping & punching bags of meat for her own gender to physically vent their aggravations on for any reasons that they see fit.

@SovereignessofVamps I honestly think that's a fantasy. They're might be an emotional rush to get pregnant while they still can. Or psychological factors like wanting to feel attractive again after being mom and raising kids for years. But the idea women become raging sex addicts in older age, from what I can tell is largely false.
It makes more sense that older single women who hope their looks hold out long enough to get a man are more loose, because they're trying to lock in a guy vs actually being hornier than when they were younger. I know a lot of dads that will tell you their sex life did not increase with age.

These men have carried out a rational cost/risk/benefit analysis of interaction with women and come to an evidence-based conclusion that modern Western women have made themselves to much hard work, too legally dangerous and all round far too toxic for any form of interaction with them to be of benefit to a man.
Consequently, they walked away and they are still walking. They will not return to the plantation.

You haven't given up on men, you've given up on boys. From the above it seems as though you haven't had the pleasure of dating a man to be honest.
As someone who is older than most of those that have replied, so here are my thoughts on what you wrote.
First and foremost I feel your more mature than those around you. The next and biggest thing is ladies like you who are stang and independent are harder to take advantage of so , a lot of guys don't think that. personally I give you a big thumbs up for saying what you feel and think. If someone doesn't like you for the person you are , they don't deserve to know you at all.
Im one of the guys on hear who complains and have pretty much given up on women. I've approached over 500 women and 98% of them wouldn't give me a chance and when i did get a first date, i did something she didn't like and poof, she left. Women have unrealistic standards and expectations of men nowadays. I've dated several women, most in wanst attracted to but i still gave them a chance, women on the other hand dont. I've lost count how many real numbers girls have given out and didn't respond back, whats up with that. How about women chance, become more datable, stop blaming men, and approach us for a change. I hate dating and dont like modern women, they suck!
