@levantine99 Do you know what confidence comes from? From accomplishment and affirmation. The earlier is to know yourself what you are capable of, the later is that other know what you are capable of and reward you with social status. The question is, what is it you need to be capable of that is seen as attractive? Being good at videogames or drawing probably aren't skills worth considering when choosing a mate. So, what is? Social skills. And what are they? Mostly being able to comfortably converse with people, and flirting. How do they work? By sharing common interest and abiding concepts established by society, like acting out necessary smalltalk about the most uniteresting things possible, and gently teasing subjects of interest.
Problems arise when you don't share any interest with the majority and don't want to comply with these concepts because you now they are stupid facades and obvious. The later can even cause harm if done wrong. So any advice on that?

I know confidence is what is the most attractive trait besides looks and status, but "get confident" is the most BS advice possible, since it is not a skill to learn but always the result of another skill learned and social acceptance of that. So please refrain from doing so, it is rather offensive. It's like telling ugly people to become good looking, or poor people to get rich. In case of romance, it is always confidence in your social skills that count, which you mentioned, but didn't elaborate on how to acquire.
