Split the check. It's not my job to pay for your dinner just because you have a vagina.

A vast majority of men ask women out on dates; not the other way around. So trying to front by acting like you never asked a woman out is not fooling anyone. Sure more older woman may make the initiative as they get older and desperate for men but men still by in large ask women out. Given your profile pic, you are no Chad which means you aren't having any woman throwing herself at you freely.

That is not my failure because i have never payed for dates. However unlike you, I am not so solipsistic to think my experience is the only one. For the vast majority of men, they will be the ones asking women on dates.
The advice "who ever ask or day should pay" make men easy suckers for women that just want to use them for a free meal with no desire of ever blossoming the current relationship into a romantic one. In fact, it is found that 1/3 of women go on dates with men just for food alone and have no romantic feelings towards them.
Hence why I refer to your advice as SIMP behavior because your essentially giving men advice to grovel to women to give them a chance at dating.
The ideal scenario for any date should be go dutch (both parties pay 50/50) so no one is taken advantage of.
