Ya, but if you go look at the unfiltered data, there ate some girls around 5' to 5'3" who put your height within their range. So its not all bad.

How did you get the observations? Did you simply ask them how tall they were?

I think you'd be hard pressed to find any sampling strategy that is without its holes.

Internet poll, voluntary, chance at lying, age sample. The holes are many, much more than the average.

Unless you put a gun to someone's head and give them a polygraph test, all surveys are voluntary and have a chance of lying. The internet survey argument doesn't hold any water, and neither does the age sample because cover the age spectrum from teens up to people in their 60s. And to say that their are more holes than average would imply that you know how many errors appear in the average survey. Do you?

Psychology works more on a case to case basis, sociology looks at trends and patterns in society and social behavior.

Well recently I heard somethings like around 8 inches. Most women wants a man who 8 inches taller then them. For me this is ridicilious. So 5'11 women never dates with a guy shorter then 6'7 :D thats really weird and wrong I think.
