How bad is it to seek attention from other men while being in a serious relationship with a guy?

I am a 29-year-old working woman in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend. He is a true gentleman and I know he loves me. We even plan to get married next year. But my problem is I can't stop seeking attention from other available men. To an extent that I keep my relationship status hidden. Whether it's a casual talk or a bit of flirt I enjoy every bit of it and long for more. Sometimes I feel I just wanna make them feel attracted to me and kinda approach me but that is it. I have been in abusive relationships in the past for more than 10 years and I know how it feels like to be disrespected in a relationship and I somehow feel that I am treating my boyfriend the same way I used to be treated in the past. I love him and don't wanna leave him.

You know, I certainly don't think it's ideal but clearly, there are a lot of women who do this. I mean, you go on dating sites and you always run into these profiles from women who are married and clearly state that they're only on there for "friends" but what's clear to me is that they like posting cute pics of themselves and getting flooded with messages because there sure are lots of other ways to find a friend than to go on a site that's dedicated to help you find someone who's more than a friend.

So yeah, I personally don't like what you're doing here and a lot of people will probably agree with me on that point, but at the same time, I sort of accept that there are a lot of women who feel the way you do and maybe just going out and getting your ego stroked can be harmless even though what you're doing is absolutely disrespecting your boyfriend.

If you aren't comfortable behaving the same way in front as your partner as you are when they're not around then you need to re-evaluate your priorities.
To say you've had bad relationships but are now in a good one yet disrespect him by indulging yourself in other men's attentions makes it seem like he isn't fulfilling what you need and he should know that to try and fix it.
If you can comfortably say you would do the same thing in front of him and he'd be ok with it then it's not wrong, until then you're short changing on loyalty
