Me and my best friend/crush (Z) just met about 3-4 months ago.
It all started about 1 month ago at the Homecoming Game. Z and I were sitting around, and he was downloading a game on my phone. One other kid came up and told us how cute of a couple we were.
All was cool, we just let it go, and at the Dance we hung out and eventually he asked me to dance for a couple slow songs.
About a week passed and now one most of our friends were shipping us together. We hung out at his house to play video games and his aunt mistaked us as a couple along with one of his toddler brothers. Nevertheless both of our families tease us.
Lately, most of our tiny school has been shipping us, saying we're a cute couple, or proclaiming how much we need to date. Three of the first people who said this recently made a ship name for Z and I.
Z and I do hug and talk all the time we can, often hugging about 10+ times a day, and we hang out all the time we can. He usually initiates it. Sometimes he walks me out to my car.
Z always asks me how I'm doing with my family, and mental illnesses. In PE, which I hate, he always tells me to try for him. Or when I have bad days he says to try and stay positive for him.
Today, in addition to a side hug, he said he wanted a full hug and when it was time for me to go, he held my hand until I left the school.
Now what I'm wandering is do you think he likes me?
