I think the answer is No, however some women would not be ok with it. Part of being a suitable male partner is showing that you are financially stable, a lack of a car can really hurt that.

That said, I once dated someone who used the "I don't have a car" excuse to just stay in the house all day. That was a deal breaker.

If you live in the US, I would say yes unless your young enough where you typically borrow a car from a relative or you live in a crowded city where everyone gets by using the train.

Why would someone have a licence but no car? What was the point in getting the licence. I have no licence and no car and im not looking for gold diggers anyway
One can always borrow a car or rent a car. One can always buy a car in the future. I'm not a golddigger, but I have been taken advantage off to the point where I get to "fix" everything cause I have do have a license. When I have kids, i wanna be able do just buy a safe and cheap car. And not to scratch every penny because i have to use public transportation and save for the extra money to get an extra license. Public transportation and getting a license are both fkn expensive where I'm from. So yeah i don't care if the guy i dates has a car, he needs to have a license or at least get one.
