Now the first week of talking to her we were extremely flirty with a side of roleplaying each other another week goes by and we start to try to plan a day to hang out. Only to realize during a conversation we were having that she thought it was merely just us hanging out and not a date. She says she’s only looking for friends, it confuses me that we’d flirt and she’d compliment me on being good looking etc.
I feel like the term dating to her means it has to be sexual when it doesn’t at all
She’s a good girl and has only slept with 1 guy (assuming he was her only serious boyfriend)
What do I do in this situation? I find her perfect but at the same time I’m not emotionally attached to feel any sort of way. Is it worth trying to be her best friend before dating?

There’s a lot of this going on. As long as she keeps flirting maybe go with it. If things aren’t progressing cut it off. Make her pay her own way too... since she wants to just call you pals.
