Honestly I would rather be with someone with a nice face and an average body. It's just personal preference.

Then again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so if you were going out with someone or in a relationship with them, you probably would like their facial features, whether they are considered "ugly" or not.

Sure, there is a certain look in society that's considered "beautiful."
Not everyone finds models attractive though. Or at least not all of them. One person could think one model looks great, while another person preferred a different one.
So, yes, there are beauty standards, but in reality it's all just personal preference.

It’s about a deeper connection for me. More like his morals like loyalty, humour, trustworthy similar interest. I don’t have a type in looks just personality wise and with certain types of chemistry, and that is something I can’t choose

So by that logic you should be able to date your dad or grandpa. You dad can be "loyal" "humourous" "trustworthy" so why not just date him? Obviously there's some other element involved AKA physical attraction. You’re reading too into it, if there was an attractive guy and he was a prick I wouldn’t want anything from him. If there was a ugly guy but everything else was fabulous then I would rather him. But I need to have chemistry and certain feeling and vibes (what people call butterflies, goosebumps etc)

Loyalty isn’t clinginess lol. It’s someone with the decency of going out and knowing that your woman is a priority and not the girl in the red dress at the bar. It’s about sticking up for your girl in any situation. If that’s an attraction for me then so be it 😂

Sometimes the connection can be there straight away sometimes not. Usually it’s the way they carry themselves. The way they interact with you and others as well, because you can see if they are gentle caring or kind etc. the way they are with friends and family too.
