I don't think the poll has anything to do with the song. I don't think the woman he's singing about even wanted his soul. So that one line in the song doesn't even really make sense with the rest of the song.
Oh Jamie. You're so pedantic. The most pedantic person I've ever met. Every little mistake or inconsistency and your'e going to point it out.
Fine. I made the poll because it is a more typical situation and may be able to relate to - whether a soul is a beautiful thing to offer, or something that should never be expected by the other. I tried to combine these abstract ideas, with the song, and it didn't really work. The song is more open to nuanced interpretation so making it multiple choice does not do it justice. You saw some of the innerworkings of my brain trying to sort this out. I have apparently failed. I will go stand in the corner now for a 15 min penance of shame.
I honestly had no knowledge of the inner workings of your brain on this one. I thought the question was based on the song and not the other way around. 😅
Oh, the second one of course. I usually do it because if I get some interesting thing to think about from some post but I am already busy/engaged in something else it will help me find the perticular post later. This site really needs a save feature. Sorry for the non optimum grammer, I really need to sleep.
Ok. Thanks for clarifying. I have UrbanDictionary in my toolbar bookmarks and I look up stuff often, but you really had me stumped with this one. (And by the way how can 1 word have so many different meanings?)
Simple. They often have similar enough meanings and as a smart human once said, words don't mean what their dictionary definition is as. They mean what they are used as and the dictionary has to adapt the evolved meaning eventually. One good example is the word atheist, it has largely started losing it's meaning and some dictionaries have started to adapt (imo).

If I find a good woman who wants to be with me, I will gladly give her both my heart and my soul.

@AmandaYVR LOL. I'm laughing because I can just see the look on your face right now even though I'm not there. 😆😈😇

Yep, sounds about right 💋
Giving up your soul is becoming a slave! It's the quickest way to turn a woman off that there is. Never do that. Never ask that.
He's waking away from a relationship that was never all that great. I like Mike Ness' recording of it the most. We used to play this in my old band.
What about this quote
"If you're born you're chosen"
I have no idea what that means.
There's a reason he's considered the greatest songwriter...
"In the first half you got me
I m not gonna lie"
Lol
I wanna take a ride on your rock and roll
I have to admit I don't entirely understand this sentence, but I absolutely LOVE it. 🔥💯
You are cool, girl.
P. S. Here's another one for you

Not a good trade!!
Yep! Good thing he cashed in his chips before he was completely broke.
She is the Devil obviously
I don't think it's that clear cut.
Well she definitely wants more than he is willing to give.
Ok, so why isn't he willing to give her more?
@TheNikJamJessProject Because he is being drained mentally and phsyically
So what can she do to change the matter, to save the relationship?
I'm currently struggling with the same exact situation atm.
@TheNikJamJessProject I am sorry to tell you either someone will give all or they won't.
@TheNikJamJessProject I do not think something like that can be fixed.
@TheNikJamJessProject Yep, this guy's (Bob's) mind is definitely made up.
I have no clue what that even means
Sounds like a succubus lol
Marked.
Alright. Why do you keep writing this.
Choose 1 or 2.
1. Targeting someone for a violent attack. Usually meant to intimidate them.
2. Targeting someone as a potential lover.

Sounds like she wanted his soul.
