Hello everyone, around 2 months ago a friend of mine (let's call him "L") stopped messaging me and started to ignore me because of a misunderstanding that happened. Basically, a mutual friend of ours told me he had contacted "L" so we can go out to enjoy a sunny day, but that he didn't respond. I told him to try again, and upon meeting our mutual friend, he told me had called "L" again as I told him but that once again he didn't respond. I posted a picture of us hanging out on my Insta story, not knowing he didn't actually contact him. Immediatley, "L" became angry and lashed out on me even when I explained what happened. He has since unfollowed me on Insta, stopped messaging me and left our Discord server so I couldn't reach out there either. He patched things up with the mutual friend, but not with me.
I find all this odd, because "L" and I were very good friends. Ever since I met him, we grew closer and got to the point of talking almost every day for hours just about anything. We played video games together, mostly Phasmophobia and Minecraft. We had a lot in common and I really liked to talk to "L" and just do whatever. He'd still go out with his other friends, but still text him even though he was supposed to be hanging out with them. He'd ask me if I wanted to go out for a walk or just stroll through town with him and I said yes, but we never got to do that. One day he was nearby and texted me if I wanted to go out for a while since he was close, but I didn't respond in time. There were other small things he did, like being upset that I had to leave our gaming session of Phasmophobia and he even complimented my looks and when the three of us went out just walking and talking he asked me if I made it home alright when we parted way. He also said he'd make sure I was invited to other hang outs. One time he told me if I managed to beat him in CTR, he'd give me "his heart and soul". He also accidentally called me (twice) early in the morning on WhatsApp.

There was also the case of him snooping around my Insta and liking old photos and for some reason I saw him talk about my WhatsApp profile picture with one of his friends. I find it odd he'd just stop hanging out with me or talking to me after everything. He'd use some terms of endearment as well.
