Asked a girl to hangout, she said yes but I haven't heard of her since?

So i asked a girl to hang out next week to study, because she mentioned she had to study, and she basically said "well yeah" and after said "also we can watch [insert tv show name]" which we both seem to enjoy, This was like 6 or so days ago, even though the answer was positive she didn't seem over the moon either, which is fine, but i usually hear from her weekly at least, should i contact her? i think this might make me look desperate, and i also dont want to force her to hang out if she doesn't really want to and is just being nice, any advice? I should also ention that we haven't set a date only that it will be next week

Well if she said that she wanted to study and watch movies, I wouldn't worry about her lack of communication. Maybe she hasn't messaged you because she's waiting until you hang out. Did you set a date?
