If your friend hooked you up with someone who they KNOW is not your type, how would you react?

#1 Would you call you friend out during or after the date? (In this case its a blind date so you dont really know what you’re meeting until you get there). #2 Would you continue the date, never attend, or make up an excuse to leave early? My Reaction— Lol i dont play that blind date crap. I prob wouldve been making faces at my friend the whole time cause it sure as heck better be a double date if they’re hooking me up with some random. I prob wouldve made excuses to sit next to my friend instead of the guy. I’d hate to waste the guys time but shit he’s already there. So i’d be like “I’m so sorry she dragged you here without telling you that I’m already romantically interested in someone else. But since you’re already here, if you still wanna chill with us, feel free.” Then i’d cuss my friend out back home. #FeelFreeToList #iGotTheHookup #scenario

In college, my best friend asked me to hang out on the weekend, but when she rolled up, she was with some guy I'd never met and she'd never mentioned in our plans. She immediately started acting super weird and telling me, I should sit up front next to him...and that we kind of look cute together. This guy was not cute, his voice was goofy, and he was like an entire foot shorter than me. I kind of figured out that she was trying to get us together for some reason. By that time he was awkwardly looking at me, and the silence was deafening, so I bluntly told her, I'll sit in the back, thanks. That car ride was filled with more silence, and to make it worse, I had no idea what she'd told this guy in terms of my potential interest in him because I never once have ever tried to hook her up with anyone and this was I guess her very very unsolicited attempt.

Well, a few weeks later, she tells me, since I didn't want him (uh, I never asked for him, thank you), she wanted to get my permission to date him (yeah, sure, the guy I never wanted in the first place, you want to date him, why the hell are you asking my permission). So anyway, I'm like do you. And she does. And I was happy for them, and during that time, we did become friends. They did date for a year and a half before breaking up. Oh but it gets better. A few months after the break up, this guy decides to come all the way out of the closet and announced he had a boyfriend now.

I’d obviously be mad. My friends know what I like… if they purposefully hook me up with someone they know I won’t like them I figured they were trying to be disrespectful. I would still go to the date so I wouldn’t be rude I’m definitely calling them out after though.

I would continue the date because I don´t want to be rude to the other person and wouldn´t tell anything about ´oh actually you´re not my type and that friend hooked me up with you´ etc. I would still talk to her and continue the date, because I love hearing other peoples opinions and listen to their story. Just because a girl may not be my type doesn´t mean that she couldn´t be a new friend.

1. After. It isn't the date's fault they got set up with the wrong person, unless of course it was a deliberate set up just to piss you off.

2. I would tell them it was a pleasure to meet them, but they don't have what you are looking for. You are willing to be friends with them, but it couldn't go farther than that.

I don’t know what that would look like. I’ve never tried setting my friends up with a girl and they’ve never tried setting me up with one. I ONCE had a blind date. We were supposed to meet in the food court at a mall locally. I walked in, thank GOD it was with a crowd! She, (I assume it was a she), occupied the exact location we had discussed over the internet. I'm not one to disappoint but she (?) had more facial hair than I did when I wake up in the morning.
