A missing thumb should not impact on any relation. If it does, then you know that this girl is definitely not the right one for you since she places so much emphasis on a missing finger. That would indicate that she is a very superficial person and you don't want to be together with such a person.
There are much more important factors in a relation than a missing thumb. Those would be a good character, personality and intellect. If you have those 3, then you definitely should get a... thumbs up.
