Girls, is online dating worth it?

I have a boyfriend, his name is Isaac and he’s super sweet, the thing is though, he’s from a different country. I’ve always wanted to have a real relationship where I’m touched, kissed and visited, but I never got to experience that and at my age, I feel kind of pathetic. A lot of the girls at my high school were dating but I never found someone. Should I just continue to date online or should I try finding someone in my area? Online dating can be pretty risky. Please let me know your opinions.

Online dating is not worth it and especially if he's in another country.

In my experiences a lot of the men online either had a girlfriend, had a wife & kids, had serious drug problems, were a Narcissist, or just wanted a relationship for a place to stay.

When I was younger I talked to a guy in another country and waited for us to be together for years until one day he told me he was getting engaged to a girl where he's from. Try to find someone in your own state at least

Omg I am so sorry that is horrible, that guy must’ve really broken your heart. It really sucks when someone you like gets together with another girl :( oh and I’m actually from Canada, not the states but my boyfriend is actually from the states! I’ll think about letting go online dating, I really love my boyfriend but at the same time I want someone in my area.

Ahh Canada that's not too bad. I think he should attempt to visit you after a few months of talking to see if it could go anywhere. Never travel to a man. If he never mentions coming to visit yes it's probably time to find someone in Canada.

Yeah some people used to be lucky but as for me am always not lucky when it comes to online dating I ended up having heart break.
