Do very tall men like short women?

I hear a lot of women complain they want tall men.
I literally have tall men come to me.
In fact the shortest guy I ever dated was 5 11.
this wasn’t deliberate it’s just tall men always gravitate towards me.
if I’m in a group with my friends who are like 5 foot 8 and a group of men approach us. The tallest man in the group always talks to me! My taller friends get so jealous. Saying comments like you don’t even need the tallest guy it’s so unfair.
I am 5 foot 2.
My current boyfriend is 6 4. People say to me all the time oh you must like tall men. And I’m like actually they seem to like me...

Yeah. I'm short myself (181 cm) but tall men see it as a masculine/feminine thing. As in, shorter girls are more "girly." It's like having big boobs or very girly clothing, for them.

Short guys (less than six feet tall) tend to rarely ever equate tallness with masculinity and shortness with feminity, because by that logic, they themselves would not be considered masculine.

But it's ironic because tall girls still do the same thing as tall guys do; "short = girly, tall = masculine." In fact, most women (like 95-98%, if I had to guess) do that, while only tall men (20% of the male population) also do that. That's why tall girls; 5'9"/175 and over, always end up acting like such petty, bitter, jealous bitches to short girls who get tall guys.

They feel super-entitled to all the tall men, while girls also see tall men as the most attractive. And while only tall men might have an issue with women 5'9" and over, most other men are fine with them, even if short girls are statistically more likely to be desirable (there's a lot more of them).

In other words, short girls and tall guys are the most attractive of their gender, tall girls feel entitled to tall guys, and no girls see short guys as even being a dating option.

Girls will take the 199 cm tall guy over the 180 cm little manlet, every time. And being one of these manlets that can't reach the top shelf, that just sucks.

Isn’t 181cm pretty much 6 foot. You aren’t really short lol. 5 11 is still a pretty decent height. Could be a lot worse.
But yes that makes a lot of sense because women equate height to being manly or not manly. Like a shorter guy is seen as more feminine even if he has muscles than a taller guy. So it makes sense that men view shorter women in this way too. I never thought about that.

My friend "T" is 6-3 and his wife is 5-1. Looking back on the taller men I've known (over 6-2), nearly all of them are married to short women (under 5-4). It would be interested to perform a study to see if taller men are naturally attracted to shorter than average women.

Interesting or not, I'm 36 years out of grad school, so someone else can take on the challenge!

Women quite short that want children are usually only wanting very tall men too because they want their child to have a decent chance of being tall. Especially if they have a boy. If your 5 1 you know that your son isn’t going to have any chance of height unless you marry someone significantly tall.

Sometimes I really think they do, I'm 5'5 and my boyfriend is 6'4. But hey there could be plenty of tall guys out there that like taller women too I gues it just depends.

I argue the shorties come to me. The short ones are the pushiest and most assertive and just seem to get their way more. That is about it. You probably have that personality that some like.

I'm 6'7, personally I don't really care what height girls are. 5'2 or 5'7 is really the same thing to me. I haven't dated a girl over 6', so that could be interesting.
The only cons I've found are well, physical incompatibility, things not lining up very well. And if you hold hands in public, it kinda looks like you're walking around with your small daughter.
Those are things I can completely disregard though and girls around 5' are quite adorable.

This is exactly what I feel. I love tall men but I actually had a conversation with my boyfriend saying aren’t I too short for you? He got offended acting like I was wanting to reject him for his height and I’m like wtf. No I don’t have the issue but im surprised you don’t! If I was 6 4 I personally wouldn’t want to date a girl so short. Your neck would hurt from always looking down and you’d feel like you were with a child. So this is why I’m so surprised they don’t care. 6 7 though is Some godamn good height genes, give me some.

Dated 4’ 11” to 6’ 4”, don’t have a preference as much as a different set of mental adaptations that kick in.

In my experience, aggressive short women like me best, while tall women (6’+) seem a bit less interested
